Governed by law, Ensign permits are valid for 5 years, or until the expiration date of your current SR/ON, whichever is the sooner, and are not transferable between boats. During the checkout process you will be asked for your boat details. However, if you pay by Apple Pay, this process is bypassed, therefore it’s imperative you send your BOAT NAME, SSR/ON NUMBER and SSR/ON EXPIRATION DATE via email to the RSYC Administrator to enable the processing of your permit. To avoid paying the £9.95 postage fee, for ENSIGN PERMITS ONLY please select COLLECT FROM GINS at the checkout. Your permit will then be mailed to you via Royal Mail 2nd class post.
