Members and families gathered at Gins on Easter Day for Gins Easter Fun.

Following an excellent carvery from Sally Cardigan and the team, the younger members gathered on the dock for a crabbing competition.

It has to be said that not only the children seemed to be fascinated by the crabs and more than a few mums and dads were seen apparently crabbing unattended.

The catch was less than impressive with only six unfortunate crabs falling victim and strangely one small fish, which won a special prize.

Judging under a number of different categories followed and the prizes in the form of chocolate eggs seemed to go down very well.

The Easter chick hunt followed with numerous youngsters searching around the Club house for twenty little chicks hidden strategically behind radiators, doors, curtains, blinds etc. and this resulted in the successful distribution of the remaining chocolate eggs.

Thanks to those that attended and in particular Rear Commodore Sailing - Gordon Agnew who all helped to make for a memorable lunch time.
