SEA FISHING TRIP

A further day's fishing has been arranged for members and friends on Shogun a luxury 38ft catamaran.
The day will start in Lymington at about 0800hrs and finish about 1730hrs.The cost of the boat for the day is £450.00 including tackle and a good time. The individual cost will therefore be about £56.00 for eight eight people.
Hopefully, we will be able to have a fish supper i n the Clubhouse with the proceeds of our catch!

CLUB FUN NIGHT

Our Club party night gives Members the opportunity to come along and enjoy a lively evening at Ocean Village with dancing to Take One Disco - we have changed our early plans to stage a karaoke evening in favour of one of our always popular informal Club fun nights.
Of particular note this Friday is an all-you-can-eat curry buffet with a choice from Poppadums, Mint raitha, Beef madras, Lamb rogan josh, Chicken korma, Vegetable curry, Cauliflower bhaji, Sag aloo, Naan bread and Pilau rice.
Price: for the buffet £12.50 per person

SPEAKER CARVERY SUPPER

Our topic for October is Ice Yachting which began in the Netherlands as a mode of commercial winter transport.
More recently it has developed into a fast and exhilarating and potentially dangerous winter sport, practised in more than 20 countries worldwide.
RSYC members will have the chance to learn more about it from Christopher Williams at this carvery supper.
Carvery served from 7pm; Speaker to commence at 8.30pm.
LADIES LUNCHEON

Join us for a Bucks Fizz reception, followed by a two-course luncheon with coffee and wine at Ocean Village.
Guest speaker is a celebrity chocolatier who promises an insight into the history and art of chocolate making.

CARVERY QUIZ
Thursday, October 9
The monthly quiz series held from October through to March is one of the Club's most popular events. Robert Lamb started the carvery quiz series back in 2003 with his wife Susan as the 'Tart with the Chart'. Roger Townsend joined the team for the 6th annual series last year with his 'Blonde Bombshell, Zhivka.
DANCING LESSONS
Monday, October 13.
You've had chance to watch the beginning of the new series of Strictly Come Dancing on television this weekend - and here's the chance to practice your steps, brush up your dancing techniques, or simply learn to dance.
Lessons will be held at Ocean Village clubhouse every Monday from October 13, concentrating on one or two dances.
The series runs for six weeks and from past experience we anticipate demand will be high. So with only 30 places available, book early and be sure of being able to keep dancing.
Cost: £30 per person for all six lessons.
STEAK AND KIDNEY PUDDING CLUB
