DON'T forget that the Club's popular Carvery Quiz series resumes at Ocean Village this Thursday.
Quizmaster Rob Lamb will be in the chair once more to host the evening, and he promises the series will follow the now well accepted format of starting with the carvery and following on with the Quiz.
Teams of six will compete, endeavouring to answer a collection of general knowledge questions . . . and along the way attempting to knock present champions, Big Boys Toys, captained by Andrew Percival, from their dominating role in last season's quiz series when they notched up five wins.
The series will run on the second Thursday of the month throughout the winter, through to April, with a total of seven rounds. Dates are Oct 9, Nov 13, Dec 11, Jan 15, Feb 12, March 12 and April 9.
The quiz starts at 9pm.
