The Royal Southampton once again has the largest contingent from the South Coast attending the Sea Horse rally organised by our friends at the Deauville Yacht Club which starts today, August 25 and the Royal Southampton Yacht Club is proud to be taking part once again.

Former Commodore Peter Whatley who is leading the contingent reported today: "All of the RSYC boats are safely moored up in front of the DYC and have already enjoyed a taste of what is to come with a splendid little drinks party on board Ear to Eternity.  

"Our Club has managed to produce the largest number of boats with eight stalwarts proudly flying their burgees."

"We are off to the first horse racing event today (Monday) at Clairefontaine.  The golfers are going for a practice to make sure they are in good shape for the match later in the week.

"The weather is good and the forecast is for an excellent week."
