And now for something a little different! There have been requests from the more adventurous of our cruisers, to arrange rallies at anchorages rather than marinas.

Poole Harbour is a wonderfully varied cruising ground and here we should be able to suite everyone’s taste.

 

So, on Saturday we shall take the tide to Poole, where moorings are reserved at Parkstone Marina.

 

Dinner has been arranged at the Royal Motor Yacht Club, with its stunning view over the harbour.

 

On Sunday, depending on the weather, we shall select an anchorage and gather to enjoy an evening BBQ and watch the sunset! This will be a good opportunity to polish your skills in the gentle art of anchoring, so do join us. Returning on Monday we may well stop somewhere for lunch or afternoon tea.
