Over the years this has become one of our most popular events.

Members, who don't normally come cruising with us, like to come to this one and very welcome they are too. So, if you haven't done this Proms in the Park evening, why not this year?

If you come by boat, we shall be moored at the recently refurbished Island Harbour. From there you will be picked up by coach and taken to Osborne House.

After a picnic supper, you get the full musical works from the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and just when it is all getting too much, a dazzling display of fireworks to light the darkening sky.

Bring you own chairs a picnic and, of course flags to wave, if that's your style; some have found that as the evening wears on, a blanket helps.

You could even come by ferry and catch the bus from East Cowes to Newport which stops at Osborne. Then you have to find us. No problem, we will be flying the Club Cruising Burgee.
