OUR main Clubhouse, overlooking the popular Ocean Village Marina in Southampton, boasts superb facilities and a delightful atmosphere which combines traditional values with modern surroundings. The main features are:
This clubhouse, built partly over the water, enjoys romantic views across the marina and is very tastefully furnished and decorated. The first floor includes an informal sailing bar and lounge, around a handsome central bar furnished in hardwood with brass fittings. Adjoining this is a luxurious dining room noted for the excellence of its cuisine. The Club is open seven days a week with restaurant and bar lunches available daily. Evening meals are available from Wednesday to Saturday inclusive. The bar, lounge and dining room areas can be opened-up to cater for functions seating up to 150 people. On the floor above is the Admiral's Room decorated with fine oil paintings and providing a multi-purpose, well lit function room. Adjacent to this is a smaller committee room.
Complementing the bricks and mortar, the Club is extremely proud of its experienced and long serving staff who combine professionalism with friendliness and courtesy, keeping century old traditions alive.
The unique location of the clubhouse makes for an ideal meeting place. The amenities are also available to members for arranging corporate functions, such as seminars or sales promotions, as well as private parties and wedding breakfasts.
Berthing is available below the clubhouse on the Club's private pontoons for visiting members' yachts and, if available, for other visitors or those participating in Club racing.

By Road
M27 Eastbound - exit junction 3 onto the M271. Follow signs to the ‘Waterfront’. Ocean Village is signposted as you arrive in Southampton. When you reach the traffic lights at Ocean Village, do not turn right into the village, go straight on and take the next right into Channel Way. Turn right at the ‘Jolly Jack Tar’ and you will see the Yacht Club on your right.
M3 Southbound - exit junction 14 onto the A33. Follow signs to the ‘Docks’ and ‘Old Waterfront’. Ocean Village is signposted as you arrive in Southampton.
M27 Westbound - exit junction 7 onto the A334. Follow the signs to Southampton City Centre. Turn left into Princes Street at the traffic lights after the bridge over the River Itchen (the Meridian TV Studios are on the right-hand side of the bridge). Follow the road for about 1 mile and take the road on the left (Canute Road) signposted to Ocean Village. Go under the Itchen Bridge and Channel Way can be found on the left.
