BY popular demand Jane Green and Bridget Spinney are to stage another exhibition of paintings at Gins and hope to be able to support the Commodore's Charity, Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Three years ago they held a successful exhibition at Gins which raised over £1,000 for the club to donate to the Ellen MacArthur Trust.
Bridget and Jane are both members of the club and can be seen in the Beaulieu River and the Solent either under sail on Miss Chatelaine or in the motor boat Blue Peter.
The original works at the exhibition will range from £40 for unframed to £400 for framed paintings. Their work draws on a great variety of subjects but there will be a number of landscapes and seascapes of local interest. Forty percent of the net proceeds will go to the charity, so please give this your support.
The exhibition will run through Skandia Cowes Week from July 31 to August 17.
