Aged 25, I’m currently a student studying for a PhD at the university of Surrey (Guildford), so I can be quite flexible in terms of getting time off.  I’m keen to get some more long offshore passage miles under my belt and I’m very interested in double handed offshore sailing.  Assuming there are no co-skipper places available for the actual race, I would be very keen to lend myself as crew for the return journey.  I would still be interested in doing the actual race if there are any positions available, however I understand that given the short notice this may not be possible.  In addition, despite having a fair amount of experience in offshore sailing, this would be my longest passage to date and my first double handed offshore race.  I would therefore completely understand if I am deemed too inexperienced to co-skipper!

Seeking position as a co-skipper for this race.  I am owner of Psipsina on which we won the RORC overall two-handed series this year, the Morgan Cup outright as well as its IRC2 and two--handed divisions, and won the two-handed division of the Round Ireland race this year. I have been competing in the two-handed division of the RORC offshore competitions for the last seven years, including doing three Fastnets two-handed.  I will probably not be racing Psipsina next year which is why I would be available for the Biscay Challenge - a race that has recently attracted my attention.
