GINS PEOPLE
Robert Jenkins
Long time steward and genial host of the Gins Clubhouse and a friend to many yachtsmen and women on the South Coast as well as members. Runs the Clubhouse on behalf of the Club, in an inimitable manner.
Michael Elvis
Became assistant steward in February 2007 after more than 30 years in the licensed trade. He ran the Beaulieu Road Inn until he retired in March 2006. Now he is back pulling points, this time at Gins.
New Chef for Gins  
Ben Jenkins 
Gins Chef Ben is in the kitchen - joining us in the summer of 2008.
 
New Bosun for Gins  
Robin Funnell
Became chairman of Gins management committee in February 2007, having joined the Club, with his wife Rebecca, in 2004. She also serves on the Gins committee. Robin has raced with the Club on and off since 1992.
Ronald Cameron
Ronald Cameron ( a.k.a. Ronaldo) joined us as bosun in May 2008y. He has been in the area for many years and knows the river well. As usual he's available Thursday through to Sunday 0900 - 1900. Call VHF 77 call sign: Sea Echo.
