A thoroughly wet morning followed by a "weather window" saw the annual gathering at Gins for the "Rock & Roll" Summer Party.

Approximately 10 boats sampled the delights of the new pontoon facilities and joined the Gins Team for an evening of nostalgia.

Chef Sally Cardigan produced an excellent dinner reflecting 1960's menu's and at approximately 2100 hours the band "Dog Ruff" struck up for three hours of non stop frantic dancing and jigging about, at first on the balcony, but as time went by force of numbers brought dancers into the bar area.

Many members joined in with the spirit of the evening and Maggie Puleston brought her wig box with her causing no end of amusement to all.

By shortly after midnight most retired to the pontoon for the night, but it has to said that when clearing up on Sunday morning some looked a little the worst for wear.
