Dinghy instruction

DINGHY sailing can be a very enjoyable way to get out on to the water and is an ideal way to develop sailing and boat handing skills.

The club owns three sailing dinghies, all suitable for family use and based at Gins. In order to encourage more people to use these boats, we run introductory sessions at Gins.

These are suitable for any member and not simply cadets, but who may have little or no experience of dinghy sailing (or as a refresher for more experienced sailors) and will cover rigging, launching and recovering the boats and basic dinghy sailing technique.

Please ask about the next course with Cathy Crawley at Ocean Village.

Meals are available at Gins after the events.
